Vehicle Close Quarters Battle Course


About this class

This course is designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills, and mindset necessary to safely and effectively handle potentially life-threatening situations involving vehicles. 1 or 2 Day Options: July 27, 28 Course Time: 8am-2pm (both days) Course Expectations: Day 1 (July 27th) - Tactical Vehicle Maneuvering and Dynamics: You will learn how to approach, park, and maneuver your vehicle in various environments, understanding how to use them effectively as weapons, barriers, or shields during confrontations. - Ambush Response: Training cover techniques for responding to ambushes and attacks while inside or around vehicles. - Tactical Communication and Coordination: Emphasis is placed on effective communication and coordination between family or team members to ensure safety and efficiency. - Hand-to-Hand Combat (part 1): Close quarters combat tactics are adapted to the confined spaces of vehicles. Day 2 (July 28th) - Hand-to-Hand Combat and Weapon Use (continued): You will learn the effective use of various weapons within and around vehicles, including shooting from inside vehicles, using vehicles for cover and concealment, and engaging threats outside the vehicle. - Legal and Ethical Considerations: Discussion on the legal and ethical implications of using force in and around vehicles, including rules of engagement and use-of-force policies. - Wet Lab: At the end of the course we will run various realistic scenarios created to simulate high-stress situations, allowing participants to apply the skills and tactics they have learned in a controlled environment. Students will be able to test their own ammo on the vehicle to find fault points and to have a greater understanding of what bullets do in on and around cars to include windows, doors, pillars, seats and the engine compartment. Required gear: - Handgun (preferably one used in every day concealment) - 3 magazine minimum - 250 rounds of ammunition - Eye protection - Ear protection - Gloves (cut proof or similar) - Long sleeve shirt during the wet lab - Long pants (thick fabric recommended) - Close toed shoes
